Bush and Beach

Description
Our home is a 3 bedroom house up on poles in the bush. We have an acre of land which is mostly bush and very private.
Our house is small but comfortable, it has a heat pump, wifi, tv, all the usual stuff, but no dishwasher sorry, though we do have hammock seats and bean bags on the deck to relax away the summer days.
A short walk across the road and you have access to bush tracks (ideal for dog walks), or in the other direction you have a short walk to a football pitch exercise area. 5-10 mins drive west you have the Manukau beaches such as Armour Bay and Cornwallis, the dog friendly Kakamatua Beach, and the lovely Huia with it’s rustic store.
You can pop down to Laingholm beach store or Woodlands Park store for supplies otherwise if you head back towards civilisation you have the popular village of Titirangi (8mins drive up the hill) where you have pretty much all you need.
Jessie our 9 Yr old Huntaway dog loves to run around or chase the ball off the lead at the park, beach or on the bush tracks. But she’ll just as happily laze around now she’s getting older. She’s well behaved and will follow you, she does love to wander off exploring but she’ll always come back.
Missy Moo the 12+ Yr old black cat is very low maintenance and comes and goes as she pleases, she’ll come and snuggle on your lap when your not looking, but usually will just appear when it’s meal time.
We are ideally looking for a single sitter, someone who is home based or doesn’t work away all day every day and is clean and respectful. Someone who has time to spend with Jessie and take her for a walk or have a play and generally just appreciate our location and keep them company.
