Description
Our ten year old home and 10Ha lifestyle block is 15 minutes from Whakatane and 20 minutes from New Zealand’s best loved beach, Ohope. Our property includes native bush, grazing, ponds, and an extensive vegetable garden/orchard to eat from. The freezer is full of various quality home-kill and surplus produce. Honey is available that we have harvested from our home hives. The main job is to look after our animals – two house dogs, two horses, and our chickens which will provide you with an ample supply of fresh eggs. We are on tank water, solar power, and solar hot water but have backups for all systems and a mains power connection. We own two EVs and so have EV chargers set up for both CCS and Type 2. Bicycles, kayaks, surfboards, and SUP boards available on negotiation. We would need a sitter to arrive early so we can run through everything; while we are still here you would stay in our separate cabin (bedroom, lounge, bathroom, office). Helpful neighbours are nearby!
