Welcome to my profile,
I am a mature lady who is extremely responsible and being an animal lover, have always looked after my friends and neighbours’ pets. After my own beautiful cat passed away and some time had passed I decided to start officially house sitting for others.
As an ex real estate director and home owner, who is house proud, your home is in good hands but the thing that brings me joy is giving lots of time and love to animals.
I am based in Tauranga, do not need a place to stay and have been doing local house sits for people but may consider other areas. Due to demand and home owners being happy to, I now charge $40 / night to help towards costs. They know the level of care and attention that I give so it makes me happy that it is appreciated (and that the animals do too!)

We were very happy with Jo’s care for our two dogs, Ludo and Lila, over a long weekend! Jo was easy to communicate with and sent regular updates with photos and videos of the dogs looking happy and loved. Jo even won over Lila, an anxious dog who doesn’t always warm up quickly to new people—a testament to her kindness and patience.
When we returned, our home was immaculate, with cushions plumped and the bedding freshly washed and dried. We couldn’t ask for more and will be booking her to care for our pets again. We highly recommend Jo for anyone looking for a warm, reliable, and attentive pet sitter.
