Hi NZ House Sitters,
We are looking for someone or a couple to stay and look after our 2 Guinea pigs and 4 chickens.
The Guinea pigs need plenty of daily weeds around our garden and water. We also give them kitchen scraps like carrot peels and veg from the garden. They are live outdoors.
The chickens get the rest of our leftovers, their own feed and water. They will need daily let out of their shed and back to roost at night in their cage. There are multiple cats around and the chickens definitely need to have a lock up each night. So far its winter and we have 2 young hens who has not laid a single egg yet. But we normally get 1 -2 eggs from other older hens every day.
Both Guinea pigs and chitckens will need a weekly turn out of their sleep area. Should take no more than 30 minutes in total. Happy to show you what to do.
