About
Hello! We arrived in New Zealand in June 2023 and are so excited to finally be able to explore this amazing country (since covid delayed our plans)!
We both love to hike and be active, cook/eat tasty food, make new friends and generally enjoy life. And meet loads of cute animals! We are very clean and tidy, and always treat other people’s homes the same as our own. Growing up with animals ourselves, we are fully aware of the responsibility (and joy!) that comes with looking after pets. They will be loved as if they are our own!
Both working as software developers at home, we wanted a break from the 9-5 grind so work on and off remotely on our own project currently. We have our own van, but would love to have a base somewhere for a while so we can get to know different parts of the country.

Brigid and Josh did an amazing job looking after our house, dog and cat. As soon as we met, I felt comfortable with them – communication was easy! They sent regular updates on how things were going, and I can tell they gave our pets a huge amount of love. The house was spotless when we got home. I would 100% recommend them, and hope they are available for us to use again in the future – I know that would make our dog very happy and take the stress out of going away.
