Caring french couple

Hello everyone,
We are a French couple who are pet lovers, although we have a preference for dogs as we love going for walks ! ð
Theo works in the manufacturing of roller shutters and Anna works for a specialized horse veterinary products laboratory in Paris (commuting 3 days a week). We decided to leave France for a gap year thanks to the WHV programme.
 We land in Auckland on 12 September and have no set plans for our trip, but we are convinced that the people we’ll meet and the opportunities we’ll have will make this year in New Zealand the most incredible experience of our lives.
Living in Bayeux in Normandy, we’re used to large spaces, and we know how to look after the outdoors as well as houseplants. We are used to taking great care of our flat (which has a sublime view of the cathedral and a large terrace) because we have been renting it out on Airbnb since we bought it in 2022. We alternate between living in it and renting it out for a few nights so it’s maintained in such a way that there’s always the possibility of welcoming guests the next day even on short notice.
We are also used to looking after the houses with great care of our families (parents, aunts and uncles) and friends (sometimes even taking care of their children and pets!)
We are used to animals, Theo has a 7-year-old husky and Anna had a labrador and a horse. We occasionnally help take shelter dogs for a walk on Sunday mornings, and we love it!
Sports is another favourite part-time – Theo has always played football and is now at the top level in our region. We enjoy all kinds of sports: running, hiking, horse riding, tennis, basketball, cycling, boat trips… And we can’t wait to discover the culture of rugby ! ð
