Description
We have two cats, Lulu and Ninja, who are spoiled by the fact that we do not have to leave them alone for work, so now that we are planning a holiday for a month we are searching for the RIGHT person for them to be ‘THEIR PERSON’ to care and look after them and give them the pats and attention they crave (once they get used to you of course).
Their ideal is a calm and confident single woman, perhaps of a certain age, who works from home or is retired and most importantly engages with them regularly. They are quite different and travel in a pair most of the time. Lulu is very tactile and loves a belly rub, Ninja is picky and everything is on her terms – but ear scratches are the best once she gets to know you.
We lock them in at night as dusk comes along, and they come and go through a chipped cat specific door during the day once we unlock it, so setting it for ‘IN but not out’ at dusk and then for IN and OUT during the day is part of the ‘gig’.
They graze their food and water so that aspect is easy-peasy.
The house is a comfortable renovated cottage with fire and heat-pump and all the mod cons you’ll need, located in a coastal village north of Wellington. Major services such as supermarkets etc are a ~12 minute drive away so a car is needed. We have great neighbours who will be happy to help if you ever need anything.
