Experienced and Mature House Sitter – Travelling to NZ Jan-April 2025
About
Hello – my name is Leigh and my son and I are travelling to Wellington from Jan – April 2025 and we are looking to house sit during this period.
I am British but spent the majority of my upbringing in Wellington where we still have family and very close connections with friends.
My 14 year old son has a dream of becoming a professional golfer and we have decided to leave the UK winter behind so he can spend three months on the courses in Wellington, developing his game and preparing for the 2025 season.
My wife and I have been married for 21 years and for the first two years we house sat in Wellington in many different places in order to save up for a deposit on our first home. Over these two years we looked after many properties, animals and plants!
As a family, we are animal lovers and have a dog and cat at home.
I am the owner and director of a care agency in Hampshire, England and my hope is to set up a similar business model in Wellington in the near future. This will be my own adventure during these three months while my son is playing golf!
