Description
We have a small 25 hectare beef and sheep farm which is located 20 minutes drive from central Rotorua.
We are looking for a capable person or couple to look after the farm for us for 3 weeks during March and April 2025.
We are currently running 36 head of beef cattle consisting of breeding cows with calves at foot, a stud bull, and R1 heifers & R1 bulls. We also have a flock of approximately 100 sheep, 25 chickens and a cat to take care of.
General care of the house and grounds and tending to the animals needs would be required.
We would prefer a non-smoking person or couple with farm experience who do not want to bring their own animals to our farm.
We can provide comfortable accommodation located at the end of a very quiet road with no through traffic.
