Hi,
We are Marcel and Bridgette, a mid-30’s professional couple living tucked against the Eastern hills of Lower Hutt with our 3-yr old cat Miru.
We are heading overseas for one month in early April and are searching for someone to look after Miru and take care of our house (and house plants please!) whilst we are away. Miru is an inside-only cat, being white and deaf. She loves to be brushed and absolutely loves the hairdryer. She is talkative and friendly but is wary of strangers at first.
The house has 2-bedrooms, one set up as a study/ WFH office with a day bed/ pull out second bed. House is heated by a wood burner, which hopefully won’t be required in April! No tv but plenty of books and a comfy couch 🙂
House would best suit a couple/ single person, at most a family with one older child (Miru is untested around toddlers).
Off-street parking available. Close to public transport (bus, Hutt Valley train line).
Grounds maintenance not necessary but would be very much appreciated!
