My name is Ruby, I grew up in Hawkes Bay and currently live in Auckland as I complete my Bachelors degree in Design. Over the summer period, I am looking to explore work opportunities in Hawkes Bay relevant to my field of design. I’m in search of a place to stay during this period, and believe housesitting would be a great fit.
I am a passionate creative and love spending time in the outdoors. I spend lots of time going out for walks and reading in the sunshine (I’m looking forward to making the most of the Hawkes Bay sun). Other activities I love are baking, spending time with friends and family around a good meal, and cafe trips to catch up with friends.
I have done a combination of housesitting and pet sitting, and I work as a nanny for a family who also has two dogs, so I am very familiar with taking care of other people’s homes and pets. In my flat in Auckland, I am known for my cleanliness and take pride in presenting a space well.
