Description
We have two dogs – both just over five years old, a doberman, a jack russell and a tabby cat of similar age. There are also 3 sheep, which require no real care, just a watchful eye.
We are located 5km outside Putaruru in the South Waikato.
We live in a small, cosy, renovated 2 bed cottage on the banks of the Pokaiwhenua Stream, which is apparently a top trout fishing stream on 4 acres of mixed grazing and riverside native plantings.
There’s a lot of fun things to do nearby as we are close to the Waikato River.
1. The eco sanctuary – Sanctuary Mountain (Maungatautari),
2. Lakes Arapuni and Karapiro,
3. The Waikato River Trail
4. Cougar bike trails for cycling enthusiasts.
5. Waitomo Caves.
Plus plenty of picnic sites, swimming pools, cafes, walks and many beauty spots.
We are looking for animal loving housesitter(s) for 7 days in April to care for our three boys.
