Hi
I am after a house and fur baby sitter.
We live on a lifestyle property approx 1 Ha in Tuakau, we would like someone to look after our cat, bird, fish and arapawa sheep and of coarse our home.
We will be away for a month in September – October and possibly December – January and would like someone who would be available for both stays if possible.
Our cat, Toby, is on a special food diet as he has urinery issues – no medication needed at present though. So he would require feeding wet food in the evening and topping up his dry food that he always has available for grazing. He doesn’t like cuddles so much but loves attention and just likes to hang out next to you, and snuggles up on the bed.
Our fish will just require feeding once each day – they are in a pond as such outside – no cleaning or anything else would be required
Our bird, Squeak, an indian ringneck lives inside and has free range of the house during the day and is locked into his cage at night and when there is no one home. He loves to spend his days on the washing line hanging out in the sun and enjoys having a good chat with you.
Our sheep, 13 of them, arapawa are a very friendly crew, a couple even love a cuddle, the girls would need moving paddocks weekly or fortnightly depending on whether the weather is treating us well.
So that about sums up the farm yard.
