Pet loving retired couple

I’m Pam 68 yrs young and my husband Steve is 65. We currently live in Canberra Australia and are retiring and finally returning home to NZ in January 2025. We have two grandsons in Auckland but we would like to really see NZ before finally settling down near them and believe housesitting is the ideal way to do that. We have used housesitters in Australia over a number of years and it has always been successful. We had a beautiful blue heeler who was always loved and spoiled by the sitters.
Unfortunately as we were arranging to send our dog over she was diagnosed with cancer and we’ve since lost her. While this has devastated us it has now freed us to be able to housesit for others and we have a lot of love to pour into other people’s fur babies.
We are both huge animal lovers, lots of experience with dogs and cats. I’ve had some experience with farm animals and willing to give anything a go with clear instructions.
