Hi, we have a large rural home on just over a hectare of land based in Ohakune, which is the central north island.
We have a 7-year-old gorgeous friendly labrador called Jack, a very relaxed cat called Harry and a Sprollie (Border Collie/Springer Spaniel cross) puppy called Charlie who will be around 6 months when we will be away. Charlie is learning really well and knows quite a few commands, is being crate trained, and we will continue with his training to make him respond to being on the lead for walks.
There is plenty of room on our lifestyle block for him to run around and burn off some of the puppy energy.
Our home is 5 bedrooms, each with own ensuite so anyone staying can have their pick of which room they would like to stay in. We have a small and a large lounge both with fires and the home is nice and comfortable.
We will be heading off to Australia for approx 3 weeks and leave on 4 June to head to Auckland and returning home on 24 June. We are looking for someone who will be happy to look after our three pets and spend some time with them while we are away.
Our property borders the Mangawhero River, which we believe has trout although we haven’t caught any. It’s close to the Waimarino 18 hole golf course and there’s some lovely restaurants in Ohakune town which is about 6kms away.
