Description
We have 1 dog Indi who will be 2.5 years old. She is a Staffy Cross, and is very sweet. She has moments of play and long periods of sleep. She is housetrained and sleeps in a crate overnight and sometimes takes herself there during the day. She does attend 2 different doggie day care, which I am happy to put her in during the holidays, but only for 1 or 2 days a week. It is too much for her to go there every day as she gets no rest there. We also have a older cat, Diesel, who is 13. He is easy to care for. Neither pets are allowed on beds or chairs. They both eat dried food. We live rurally but the orchard will look after itself while we are away. We have a modern 2 bedroom accommodation which is actually within a shed. Think of it as a small house with a big garage. The house is 2 years old, double glazed, fireplace, warm and dry. There are 2 toilets and 1 shower and upstairs there is open plan living with full kitchen including oven and dishwasher, dining and lounge area. Unlimited internet which is good. Washing machine and dryer. Gas top stove and gas hot water. Mains water and septic tank. Wheelie bin for rubbish collected fortnighly. We are located half way between Omokoroa and Katikati (10 minutes to each) with Waihi Beach half an hour away. Lots of beautiful local walks, both with and without dogs. Beautiful views and sunsets over the Kaimais.
We require someone that will be home for part of each day. The dog cannot be left for more than 6 hours. We live rurally, but the job is to look after the pets there are no requirements for the land.
