scot/kiwi social worker visiting ChCh for summer 24/25
About
Hi my name is Alistair and I lived in ChCh 2000-2009 in Spreydon and Woolston and worked in child and adolescent mental health. I now run my own business in Scotland in supervision and wellbeing for staff in the helping professions and I’m a judicial oficer for the mental health tribunal for Scotland. I returned to Scotland when my marriage ended and now I’ve renewed my kiwi passport and am coming to catch-up with my adult son (without cramping his style) who I haven’t seen since before covid. I also want to meet up with old friends and ex colleagues and reconnect with the city. I like to meditate and read and I’m happy to look after plants, light gardening etc.
I’ve looked after dogs from puppies, a boxer lurcher cross, bichon frise and lately co-caring for my niece’s cockapoo. I’m prefer the less allergenic breeds now as I’ve become a little sensitive to dander 🤗
