Description
We need someone special to come and look after our menagerie on a semi-rural lifestyle block in Kerikeri
We have a lovely older home on 12 acres near Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands, the nearest shops are 5 minutes drive away and Kerikeri township is a 10 minutes drive.
We have two inside dogs, Indie is a nine-year-old Border Collie Cross, a bit shy at first so needs someone gentle, and Buddy is a seven-year-old Shitzu Chihuahua who is tiny and thinks he’s a lion. These two are our priority for this stay, they are quite happy being taken down to the bottom of our property for a swim in the river a couple of times a day, and can happily be left at home alone in between.
Our other animals are an elderly outside rabbit called Peanut, chickens, and ducks that will need daily feeding. The sheep will just need to be checked to make sure they have water and maybe moved from paddock to paddock, all of which can be done on one of the dog walks. Other than collecting the post that’s about it.
