Description
The house is located on 6 acres in the ranges with gorgeous views 5 minutes out of the township of Taihape. It is a renovated cottage with a modern kitchen, wetback wood burner, fully insulated and heat pump to the main area and two bedrooms. We have a 12 year old Border Collie that needs to be walked in the morning and have a ball session in the afternoon as well as being fed twice a day. She is not a clingy dog but loves her pats. We have 4 chooks that are let out of the coop in the morning and tend to free range but will need to check on food and water as well as lock up at night. There are also 6 sheep and the possibility of lambs as well as two steers but they tend to look after themselves. The house is warm and insulated with double glazing. It features a wrap around deck and is surrounded by rolling hills with views of Ruapehu. It is a serene and peaceful location and on a clear night the Milky Way is amazing.
