Hello!
We are a multicultural couple, animal lovers. I (Sil) am from Argentina and Ryan is from New Zealand. We have been a couple for a little over a year, we both work for FedEx full time from Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm.
To tell a little more about me. I was a Traveler for several years, I had my dog called Antoinette, a Shar Pei dog from when she was 2 months old until she died at 12 years old in Spain before I coming to New Zealand, we were great companions on adventures, we have lived in Argentina, in England, in France, in Spain, she was my great teacher of the simple things in life, I became a dog trainer at her 2 years old after having practiced different disciplines such as dog dancing, agility, among others such as obedience. I love and respect animals life and their needs very much.
This time, after 2 years of Antoniette’s departure, I feel ready to reconnect with an animal, caring for it with conscience and responsibility. I can empathise with the owners who have to leave their animals to enjoy a trip, so I would undoubtedly have no problem sending videos and/or photos during the absence of their owners in case the owners of the house request it.
My boyfriend, Ryan, has a lot of experience with cats, they love him. He had one cat throughout his childhood and when he was older he had two, until he stopped living at his mother’s house, but we generally we go to see them on weekends and we take care of them when Ryan’s mother travels. That’s when we got the idea of applying as house-sitters ♥
