About
We love quiet evenings with a home-cooked meal and a captivating movie. Having lived in the vibrant heart of Auckland City from Whitaker Place to Mayoral Drive during our university years from 2021 to 2023, we developed a deep appreciation for city life’s energy and spontaneity. Our shared love for adventure recently led us backpacking from the North to the South of Vietnam in November 2023. Now, as we prepare for our wedding in September, we are eager for our next exciting chapter, finding joy in the flexibility and financial stability that house sitting offers.
Our experience with house sitting and pet care is extensive and rooted in a genuine passion for animals. Josh’s family in Kumeu has a whole range of pets, including two dogs, two cats, a goat, a duck, five chickens, and several sheep. Growing up with his mother, an enthusiastic dog trainer, Josh has absorbed invaluable skills in animal care and training. I’ve been lucky to have my parents adopt their own cat, Sheru, named for his resemblance to a little lion. Over the past four years, we’ve frequently house sat for our parents, providing care for their beloved pets and maintaining their properties with diligence.
